They Call Him OG Full Movie Review:
The movie begins with a promising setup in Japan, opening with intriguing visuals and dialogues that immediately capture attention. However, once the story shifts to India, it falls into the trap of being routine and predictable. The narrative loses its spark, filled with unnecessary build-up scenes that do little to move the plot forward.
The second half, meanwhile, is entirely designed as a mass elevation for Pawan Kalyan, which may please his fans but adds little to the story’s depth. The villain lacks menace and presence, while several supporting characters appear without real purpose, exposing the director’s inexperience in handling a multi-character narrative. The climax tries to regain interest by teasing a possible Japan connection and hinting at a sequel, but by then, the impact is mostly lost.
Had the film stayed focused on the Japan gangster storyline, it could have been far more unique and engaging.
