With one running time of two hours, the time that remained, it was so eternal, it managed to be talking about everything under the sun until it inevitably set itself on fire, na. From colonialism to the war on drugs, it was touching upon all these topics without really committing to even one single one, isn’t it. The film, it was scattered all over the place, you see.
What was the point of the nurse character? Was she serving any real purpose, or was she just there, no? Is investigative thriller even in the room with us? The genre, it was missing entirely from what I was watching. The film, it could not decide what it wanted to be, and so it ended up being nothing properly.
